Mmmmm.... Rural Jardin....

Those who know me well, also know that when I LOVE some fabric, I tend to have a hard time cutting into it... and so I have on my shelves some mouthwatering amazing fabrics that are long out of print...

I still have some of my favourite print ever! (sssshhh.... it's in a collection by Momo called Wonderland...)but that is for another time.

Cutting into my favourites is the hardest thing ever, but, because I am, like many on a fabric diet :-) I have decided to at long last cut into my stash!

So here it is...

My coveted jellyroll by the amazing French General: Rural Jardin!!

Now what to make...mmmm.... I have a plan!

These fabric are beautiful, but will be even more beautiful when stitched into lovely quilts and other sewing projects. I do know what you mean . . . sometimes it is just hard putting the scissors to gorgeous fiber. I do have a question . . . because I am still new to quilting, I have not purchased any of these pre-cut jelly rolls and other bundles. I pre-wash all of my fabric, but these would be impossible (or almost). Have you ever had any problem with sewing them as is and then having them distort when washing your finished piece? I love the idea for purchasing jelly rolls, but this has been my concern. I'll be looking forward to hearing what you have to say on this.
Your blogging sister, Connie :)

See if I love the fabric, I can't wait to cut it up! Is that weird? Looking forward to seeing what you make.
