Snow stopped - slowly thawing - gloomy...

update; just been out and even though the snow is disappearing... it's WELL below freezing!! my hands turned red and froze solid in no time... watch out for black-ice!

Wow! Great photos! The grey of the clouds and the white of the snow!!! Can't really imagine how cold it is!

Is that a New Zealand cabbage tree I spy in one of your photos? It just looks so out of place from what I'm used to with its formal little fence around it rather than amongst a native bush setting. Still a good covering of snow around.
