The Quilt for the Sew-along

Update: Just to avoid confusion !! made by Dana from the Old Red Barn Company who is organising the Sew-along. If mine comes out half as good I will be very happy !!

I could not find 1/2 yards of the lovely Sandi Henderson fabrics, although I definitely MUST have some in future for another project !! I therefore ordered the fabric from Heather Bailey. All from her 'Pop Garden' range. Oh yes, you know that... see underneath... duh....

Nothing much else to blog about. We went on a lovely nature walk, on which I of course took my camera... All of a sudden a kestrel... hovering right overhead... What do you think ? Forgot to reinsert my memory card after transferring photo's to the computer.... sigh.... So no photos of that....

Hi, thanks for the lovely comment you left on my blog.Thought I'd have a peek at your blog and I'm loving that quilt in your photo.Yummy fabrics! I too am a fan of Heater Bailey's fabrics and was lucky enough to purchase some on a trip to the states last year. Have only made a Amy butler bag with them so far. I will have to blog about that one day soon. Good luck with your quilt-a-long and the sewmamasew giveaways. I will be doing another giveaway today sometime so keep looking.

Thanks for your nice comment Caroline. That nice quilt was made by Dana of the Old Red Barn Co but I thought I'd put it up (with her permission) to show how beautiful it can be if I get it right !

Your photos are beautiful and your music is DIVINE! I've just been browsing around enjoying the sights and sounds!! Thanks so much for visiting my blog and the kind words! I guess Rafa is a boy also...? No tutu for him? It must have been so serene to walk through that beautiful church and look at all of those wonderful creations! Good luck with the giveaways!

Kate, it's not mine !! It's the example of what we are making and made by Dana of the Old Red Barn blog... I think I probably did not make it clear enough... I will go and edit !!

Thank so much for your confidence in me Dana, sorry about the mixups, I should have made it clearer with hindsight but saying 'I have ordered my fabric' implies to me I haven't done it yet ! I assumed to much but have rectified and I think nobody is in any doubt anymore it's yours !! I am getting a bit fed up with waiting for my fabric and everyone racing ahead. Might make a half sized quilt with fat quarters so I can at least start !
