- Busy mum of two wonderful sons and a gorgeous dog. Do you also have that feeling there aren't enough hours in the day? Then you know what I am talking about ! Looking after my family is one thing I love. Luckily some time for quilting and sailing (and dog training...) is also to be found . Ps.the boys are gorgeous too of course !...wouldn't like to get any complaints now ... I live in the UK, at the seaside in Ramsgate. This is about half an hour drive from Dover where the English channel is at it's narrowest between Dover and Calais in France.

Okay so my little Narnia is literally in a wardrobe and you get an entire room to yourself - how is this fair? LOL
I'm with you Cat - I have a student's desk in my bedroom and a wardrobe for fabric etc. It's just not fair!!! Enjoy the 'make-over'! Look forward to seeing another "after" shot soon. Suz
Ladies, ladies... You are right, I AM lucky to have such a lovely sewing space as I know many of you have a corner in a cupboard and do it on the kitchentable! Mine started out when the table and chair at the foot of the bed (for writing on...) got taken over by the sewing machine... then added the shelves, some more sets of drawers and slowly the sewing took over the bedroom... The bed has been delegated to a corner.
So it is not a bedroom with a sewing corner, it is now a sewing room with a bed in! I am aware I am lucky and thankful for the space!!
Dee, I have plenty of light in the daytime! But as I do most of my sewing in the evening when the days' work is done, I have to have the lights on! The pic was also taken late at night.. hence curtains closed and lights on!
It looked pretty darn perfect if you ask me so can't see why you would need to rearrange, but would be the ideal time if you feel the need ! x
