The poppy location revealed...

Some of you have asked me how I could photograph the poppies so close to the cliff edge and whether I could get a micro close up. Answer is I can't as there is a fence between me and the poppies, however, with zoom, you can get lovely photos fairly close up and without the fence (leaning over).

From my first photo of the one lonely poppy a while back, there is now a whole lovely bunch of them!

lovely photo. you have a very good eye for taking pictures. I love the banner too. and the quilt in that picture is gorgeous. What fabrics did you use for that?

Thanks Kelly and Nadine. The fabrics in the quilt in the banner are made of Heather Bailey Pop Garden and Bijoux.

I have a lovely image of you in the early morning leaning over fences taking photos with your big zoom lens ! Are there a lot of dog walkers out at that time in the morning ? x

Not at sunrise Maria, but around 6am they all come out of the woodwork!

Beautiful poppies. My irises are in bloom and my poppies are just about to start -- always sweet memories for me since I dug them out of my Mom's garden many years ago.
