It was grey, even more blustery and cold this morning but breathtakingly beautiful..
Luckily a ray of sunshine broke through the clouds eventually..
...and before you think it's all paradise here... (which in the main it is!) we have, like everywhere, our fair share of vandalism...
...someone has cut off the victorian oak beams of the seat, set fire to them in the corner, and had a beer whilst spraying some graffiti..(not necessarily the same person, lol!). There is another side to everywhere!

*smiles* only you could make graffiti look like art!
I enjoyed your photos and thought of you this morning as I scrapped the ice of my windscreen and wore a woolen hat and scarf to kindy all whilst carrying the camera to capture that perfect photo - and - yup I photographed the kids LOL
No ice and woolly hat here Cat though still much too cold for summer! Aren't kids the ultimate subject? Can never get enough of seeing those special moments and am looking forward to yours!
I wonder why people spray stuff like that, It doesn't even look good just scribbles really..
Awww, vandals are the same everywhere I suppose! The second picture is yet another beautiful postcard! Thank you so much for continuing your picture tour - I thought you were going to take a break? Hope you are well :)
I was Laurie.... but I missed you all and didn't get any more done either! So I came back earlier than I thought... It might be a bit patchy one the windows are coming..
Gorgeous pictures, as always! Unfortunate about the bench, though.
I'm just going to ignore that last one. The others are pretty enough. :)
I don't know if it comforts me or saddens me that the same social problems persist the world over. At least your area is mostly beautiful, you lucky girl.
Your photos are so beautiful! I am new to your blog and will be back again!

Beautiful Pics! It is a shame that someone had to vandalize a scene like that!

Love the ironic 'Enjoy the view!" message! That person is wasting his talent. :-)
